• Fiat Abarth 1000 TCR Berlina Corse MB01 chassis

The Fiat Abarth 1000 TCR Berlina Corse became a class champion of the European Touring Car Championship in 1968 and 1969. Based upon the compact 2-door Fiat 600, this car was tuned up by Abarth for races. Its muscular form is recreated in style by the model, with front and rear over fenders, a large radiator cover integrated into the front bumper, and horizontally-opened hood from under which a depiction of the inline-four engine peers out.

The model is based upon the brand new, super-adaptable MB-01 chassis - a 2WD unit that can be setup as FWD or RWD, and with three different wheelbases. Switching between front- and rear-wheel drive is easy: without removing battery pack, motor and R/C equipment setups from the center frame, simply change attachment directions of final gears and steering linkage. What's more, the rear-wheel drive setup offers a choice of low and high motor positions. The 4-wheel double wishbone suspension features symmetrical structure and friction dampers. Unitized sections such as motor mount, final gear case and suspension facilitate ease of assembly and effective maintenance.
